直感で戦う選手の朝習慣—アンネ・ザウアー

「フェンシングでは一瞬で判断しなければいけないので、自分の直感をとても大切にしています。」

その直感が、ドイツ代表フェンシング選手アンネ・ザウアーをパリの舞台へと導きました。
12回のドイツチャンピオンに輝いた彼女に、日々のルーティンや食事、そしてパフォーマンスを支える習慣について聞きました。

 

AG1:朝のルーティンについて教えてください。起きてから最初の2時間で、どんなものを飲んだり食べたりしていますか?

朝はまずエスプレッソマシンのスイッチを入れます。
その間に、AG1とシェイカーを冷蔵庫から取り出します。

夏はベランダで、深呼吸をしながら新鮮な空気を感じて、意識的に1日をスタートします。

朝食はポリッジが定番です。
ブルーベリー、チアシード、フラックスシード、レーズン、そして少しのチョコをトッピングしています。

最初のトレーニングにしっかり備えられる、私にとって理想の朝食です。

 

 

AG1:朝に取り入れる栄養習慣について、どのように感じていますか?

私にとっては、1日を気持ちよくスタートするためのルーティンのひとつです。

毎日しっかり必要な栄養素を摂れているという安心感があり、
ハードなトレーニングにも備えることができます。

 

 

AG1:普段のトレーニング時間と、食事のタイミングについて教えてください。

トレーニングはだいたい10時頃から始まります。
そして昼食は13時以降になることが多いです。

そのため、朝にしっかり食べることがとても重要になります。

トレーニング後はできるだけ早く、
炭水化物とタンパク質を補給することを意識しています。

朝の時点でビタミンやミネラルなどを摂っておくことも大切です。

 

AG1:トレーニングや日常生活において、「直感」はどれくらい重要ですか?

フェンシングでは、ほんの一瞬で決断しなければいけません。

だからこそ、私は自分の直感をとても信頼しています。

最初に感じたことが、たいてい正しい選択であることが多いので、
基本的にはその感覚に従うようにしています。

 

AG1:直感はどのように鍛えていますか?

日々のトレーニングの中で自然と鍛えられていると思います。

相手が攻撃してきた瞬間に、すぐ判断しなければいけないので、
その積み重ねが直感力につながっています。

自分の内側の感覚に耳を傾ける回数が増えるほど、
より良い判断ができるようになると感じています。

 

AG1:トレーニング後に欠かせないものは?

炭水化物は絶対に欠かせません。

強度の高いトレーニングで、1日に最大4000kcalほど消費することもあるので、
できるだけ早くエネルギーを補うことが大切です。

 

AG1:いわゆる“ご褒美フード”はありますか?

はい、密かな楽しみはピザです。

 

AG1:最近のお気に入りの食事は?

エビと野菜、フェタチーズを使ったライスボウルです。
シンプルでバランスがよく、最近よく食べています。
